Offering a multifaceted insight into the themes and concerns that were crucial to the “capitalist realist” artist who remains a singular figure of the art world, the book brings together essays by Eva Kraus, Gregory H. Williams, Petra Roettig, Daniel Koep, Selen Ansen, Michael Glasmeier, Franziska Stöhr, Doreen Mende and Kilian Fabich, with selected photographs of the artist’s works. Designed by Kühle und Mozer, KP Brehmer: Art ≠ Propaganda accompanies the exhibition KP Brehmer: The Big Picture held under the curation of Selen Ansen at Arter as the last part of this co-production between 10 September 2020 and 27 March 2021.
